Community Association Management System
Following are the major functions performed by the ARCHITECTURAL CHANGE INFORMATION component of CAMS
- You setup the system by defining the types of approved architectural changes such as the types of hurricane shutters (accordion, roll down, etc.). You also define anything that the owner is required to do when making the improvement/change such as obtaining a permit or installing a sound barrier under new flooring. Doing this prevents someone from entering a type of architectural change that has not been approved.
- For a unit with an approved change, you enter the type of change approved and the date approved and any comments that you like.
- If an architectural change is defective (for instance the clam shell shutters are faded and need painting) or does not conform to the standards, you click a check box.
- Some of the reports available are;
- Report of all units with hurricane shutters grouped by type of shutter with a total by type and overall.
- Report of defective architectural changes such as all clam shell shutters that need to be painted. This is a useful feature if you are having all of your buildings painted and want to require that owners with faded shutters have their shutters painted during the building painting project.
- Report of all architectural changes grouped by type of architectural change (hurricane shutter, glassed in porch, etc.).
- If you have Microsoft Word installed, with one click you can print the change approval memo for the architectural change.
