Community Association Management System
CAMS Version 3.00 beta will be available on November 1, 2007. We are looking for 2 associations willing to install and use CAMS v 3.00 as part of the application verification process. The license charge will be reduced by 50% for these 2 associations. We expect that CAMS v 3.00 will be generally available on 2/1/2008. The major changes to CAMS version 3.00 versus CAMS version 2 are:
1) Residential units in an association may have addresses with different street names.
2) Violation letters use Microsoft WORD templates so you may easily modify the text of the violation letter to suit your needs. CAMS will populate the violation letter with the violation details.
3) The standard installation of CAMS now uses Microsoft Access 2000 file formats which are compatible with Microsoft Access 2000, Access 2003 and Access 2007. CAMS is still available in a Microsoft Access 97 format upon request.
4) Improved data validation to ensure that all required information is entered for unit owner, rental, violation and work order information.
5) Basic functions related to the management of the Association's contracts (lawn service, management company, insurance, etc.).
6) Much easier and faster method to define the residential units which is required to setup CAMS for your association.
7) One click method to print Architectural Change approval memos. Requirements related to the installation of an architectural change (permits must be obtained, building codes must be followed or anything you like) may be defined and will print on the architectural change approval memo.
