CAMS
Community Association Management System
Following are the major functions performed by the VIOLATIONS component of CAMS

  1. You setup the system by entering all of the violations, typically those limitations on the use of a unit or the common elements found in the community documents. You may enter the document (By Laws, Rules, etc.) and the section or page of the document on which the limitation is identified. The section/page and document will then appear on violation notices sent to unit owners which will enable the unit owner to read the full text regarding the limitation on use.
  2. You create a violation entry by specifying the unit number of the individual who committed the violation and the owner name and address is automatically retrieved. You specify a date (called Action Date in CAMS) by which the violation must be corrected by.
  3. With a single click of the mouse, a violation letter(either 1st or 2nd notice) is generated which is addressed to the unit owner and specifies the violation and the date by which the violation must be corrected. With 1 more click an envelope with the unit owner's address is generated.
  4. When you start CAMS, CAMS will tell you if there are any violations open (have not been corrected) where the action date has passed. You do not need to check violation letters previously sent each day to determine if you need to follow-up or check to see if a violation has been corrected.
  5. When you create a violation for a unit, you will see all previous violations for the unit.
  6. Standard reports include;
